My professional
training affords me the scientific skills and
credentials to administer and analyse Psychological
tests. In my practice, I routinely use two different
types of test:
A)
Standardised Tests
These tests have been designed scientifically
to yield numeric scores, which reflect, in a valid
and reliable way, what is being measured. In my
practice, I routinely measure:
• Intelligence. Using the WAIS-III or the
WISC-IV, and
• Personality. Using the MMPI-2, MMPI-A,
and MCMI-III
• Diagnostic. Using the Conners Comprehensive Behavior Rating Scale and the Conners 3
B) Projective Tests
These tests require
interpretation based on training. They measure
underlying (subconscious) factors, including hidden
emotional causes of maladaptive behaviour. In
my practice, I routinely use:
• The Thematic
Apperception Test
• The Inkblot Test
• The Sachs Sentence Completion Test
